Peter Kelly founded Softcat in 1993 and just 25 years later the company now records a turnover in excess of $2B. As with all start ups, the early years weren't always easy. A key turning point in the company's growth came when the Credit Manager of their key supplier convinced his company to extend the credit facility allowing delivery of more material of more materials. This was a significant risk and could have gone either way.
