Presentation Title
E-invoicing Through 3rd Party Portals – Some Challenges for Billing
Description of the presentation
PO vs Invoice data e-interchange between vendors and clients occurs more frequently than before. Launching is driven by clients who save AP costs. Isn’t it at the expense of vendors?
Are there any new challenges for OTC? Is process automation scalable if clients use standardized 3rd party e-portals? Challenges with non-standard and governmental e-portals.
What is your proudest work related gamechanger moment?
Improving SSC reputation based on improved KPI’s, automation, efficiency.
What is your personal vision for the next 5 years?
Move back to my academic career path once I complete 25 years in Business (2027)
What is your professional vision for the next 5 years?
Change inherited manual billing process to 90% automated, and increase automated invoice delivery through portals to 50% of our invoices.
What does gamechanging success look like to you in less than 10 words?
Process automation, digitalization, standardization & harmonization with sustainable or higher quality.
Name one person you consider a great leader?
Combining several of my previous bosses.
What are the 3 main qualities that makes them great?
Strategical visions, Ethical behaviors, Push for real efficiency instead of pure cost reduction
What would you ask them if you could meet them?
How do you keep your mind so strategically open even if being bothered by so many operational topics?
What 4 gamechangers would you invite for your perfect dinner party?
People who instead of pure “corporate thinking” and “permanent business growth thinking”, simply understand how important is ethics in business behaviors both internally in the company and externally towards the clients. Simply people who valuate ethics more than money.
What is your biggest life lesson from the past 2 years?
Even if in corporate culture it’s difficult to make friends and trust fully to the people around me, I will insist on my approach to the life under any circumstances, i.e. I will trust unconditionally to the people until they behave opposite way.
