It was my great fortune to meet my Big Change guest today on a flight returning from Johannesburg earlier this year.
Michael Buraimoh is a fascinating character who has dedicated his life to helping others less fortunate, be they ex-offenders rehabilitating from prison or the many millions still awaiting the upturn after the fall of the apartheid regime nearly 30 years ago.
Today, Michael is the Director of Action for Southern Africa, successor to the British Anti-Apartheid Movement, committed to the fight for equality and justice for the poorest and most vulnerable people in Southern Africa .
Michael will be joining us at Credit Matters IX in September delivering a very timely key note address that will remind us of the consequences of hate and mistrust .
